Resident & Community Support Program

The Resident and Community Support Program (RCSP) was established to offer community resources and support to residents of The Villages of East Lake mixed-income housing community.  The RCSP embodies the mission of the East Lake Foundation to provide tools for families of The Villages of East Lake and the students of Charles R. Drew Charter School to build a better life for themselves and future generations through cradle-to-college education, mixed-income housing and community wellness.  RCSP programming and service delivery is focused on Economic Stability and Community Engagement.

Primary services offered are:

  • Economic stability programming and support
  • Career assessment and guidance
  • Computer skills training
  • Job readiness and employment skills training
  • Community engagement

Economic Stability

Economic stability programs are designed to help The Villages of East Lake residents reach their career and financial goals.  Residents work together with RCSP partners to access job resources, financial tools, start up small businessess and much more.  These programs are offered throughout the year; contact RCSP for more information on scheduling.

Community Engagement

These programs help connect residents with neighbors, share health and wellness improvement options within the community and to simply enjoy the amenities offered by the East Lake Foundation and its partners.

  • Back-to-School Jam and Community Resource Fair
  • Annual Holiday Party
  • Healthy Relationship Seminars
  • Seasonal Programs (Valentine's Day, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Thanksgiving, etc.)
