2021 Impact
Before Drew Charter opened its doors in 2000, only 5 percent of area 5th graders were able to meet state math standards, and neighborhood schools were among the lowest performing schools in the city and the state. Today, there is a marked difference in achievement:
- Drew Charter School was named 2020 Charter School of the Year by the Georgia Charter Schools Association
- Students at Drew are outpacing their peers across the state
- 99 % of Drew’s Class of 2021 graduated on time
- 99% Class of 2021 students who applied were accepted to at least one college
- 100% of student needs to access digital devices for virtual learning were fulfilled
- 14 total scholarships award by the East Lake Foundation
