Robert Johnston Community Service Award 2024 
Rob Johnston Community Service Award: Named in honor of Rob Johnston, a long-time East Lake Foundation Board Member who funded the scholarship and the associated Leadership and Service Program at Drew Charter School, the Johnston Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior at Drew Charter School who has demonstrated leadership in the community and a strong commitment to community service. Two students will be selected each year to receive a $2,500 scholarship annually, renewable for his/her four years in college.

Scholarship Requirements
  • Graduating Senior at Charles R. Drew Charter School
  • GPA: NO Minimum
  • Scholarship Essay
  • Community Service and Student Activities 
  • Finalist will participate in an interview
