TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP ANNOUNCES CHARITABLE DONATION AT DREW CHARTER SCHOOL ON FRIDAY, MARCH 29

On March 29, representatives from the TOUR Championship, the finale event of the FedExCup Playoffs held at East Lake Golf Club, and the East Lake Foundation, the nonprofit organization focused on investing in the East Lake Community and empowering its residents and students, will attend Drew Charter School’s annual Senior Walk to announce last year’s charitable impact. This year, a portion of the charitable donation to the East Lake Foundation will support Drew Charter School’s successful College and Career Readiness Office.

This year’s Senior Walk will be especially sentimental. 32 students graduating this year have been a part Drew Charter School’s Cradle-to-College/Career continuum from kindergarten through 12th grade.

TOUR Championship representatives will announce the tournament’s charitable contribution from 2023 during the Senior Walk, when the 111 graduating seniors will be recognized by teachers, students, staff and parents with a ceremony. To top it off, elementary students will decorate their classroom doors for each senior as a tribute.

The TOUR Championship will make a return to Labor Day weekend in 2024, with tournament dates set for Aug. 28 –Sept. 1, as the PGA TOUR’s top 30 players compete in the FedExCup Playoffs finale for their chance to win the FedExCup and the season title.
