Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti is receiving considerable criticism for his decision to reduce police funding by $150 million. Actually, he is onto something, and he is not the only one. If cities want to reduce crime, we should invest in solutions that actually accomplish that goal.

This is a very difficult time for many families in East Lake and our surrounding communities, many of whom are experiencing economic hardship as a result of this extraordinary health crisis. We have established the East Lake COVID-19 Relief Fund to provide targeted support to stabilize families and help avert further crisis. Varsity Boys Golf Team Wins State Championship

Drew’s Varsity Boys Golf Team won the Class A Public State Championship. They are the first APS team to win a State Championship in golf and the first all African-American team to win a State Championship in golf. Learn more
