Purpose Built Communities works with local leaders to achieve greater racial equity, improved health outcomes, and upward mobility to cultivate meaningful change in neighborhoods across the country. The Purpose Built holistic model of impact for place-based revitalization ensures a safe place to live, access to quality jobs, healthy food, recreation, and high-quality education – all coordinated by a dedicated, nonprofit community organization. The Purpose Built Communities Network includes 27 members in 20 states creating paths to prosperity for families and children.

The Charlie Yates Golf Course
The Charlie Yates Golf Course is located just minutes from downtown Atlanta, Midtown, and Decatur. Located in the award-winning East Lake community, the Charlie Yates Golf Course features a wonderfully conditioned 9-Hole Golf Course designed by famed architect Rees Jones. Facilities include a driving range, chipping and putting areas as well as a fully stocked Golf Shop.
Sheltering Arms East Lake
The mission of Sheltering Arms is to close opportunity gaps stemming from systemic racism by transforming the lives of children and their families through high-quality, equitable early childhood education and leadership in the field.
East Lake Golf Club
Located in Atlanta, Georgia, East Lake Golf Club is the oldest golf course in the city of Atlanta and where legendary golfer Bobby Jones learned the game. The Club is not only historic, but philanthropic as well. Proceeds from Club operations support several charitable partners, including the East Lake Foundation, which has helped transform one of the nation’s worst public housing projects into a thriving community.
