FIRST TEE — METRO ATLANTA

First Tee — Metro Atlanta (First Tee) seeks to enable kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with life skills curriculum, First Tee creates learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience.

Participate in a nine-hole golf outing with First Tee/Drew Charter School at the Charlie Yates Golf Course and experience the real meaning of our community motto “Golf with a Purpose.”

COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS

Drew Charter School expects to awards diplomas to 100% of its students each year. To ensure that this vision becomes reality, the Drew team has designed, and the East Lake Foundation is supporting, a robust College and Career Readiness infrastructure and team led by a Director of College and Career Readiness. Program elements are modeled on national research standards and best practices critical to ensuring the students are college ready.

Opportunities include participating in a mock job fair, hosting a student during a job shadowing day, assisting with college essays and applications, and facilitating resume writing and mock interviews.

START:ME EAST LAKE
