Each year, one student from The First Tee of East Lake is chosen to hit the ceremonial HOPE shot to kick off the TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club. Solomon Dobbs, a sophomore at Charles R. Drew Charter School earned that honor, and he battled his nerves to cooly and calmly hit his tee shot down the left hand side of the first hole.

With that, the 2016 TOUR Championship is underway!
