Run for East Lake 5K & Fun Run (Volunteer Opportunity and/or Run or Walk)
Starting and concluding at Charles R. Drew Charter School’s Junior and Senior Academy, the 5K race offers participants a fun and immersive tour of the East Lake neighborhood. The route winds through iconic East Lake landmarks such as The Villages of East Lake, East Lake Family YMCA, Charlie Yates Golf Course, and more. A unique highlight awaits all runners—a special opportunity to run the back 9 holes of the historic East Lake Golf Club.
The 5K begins at 8:00 a.m. At 9:00 a.m., children 12 years and under can participate in the Fun Run, a 400-meter dash (one loop around Drew’s track).
You can participate in the race and/or volunteer. Volunteer roles include registration, course directionals, distributing refreshments and more. All support is needed!
