Party on the Green

In honor of the East Lake Foundation’s 30th anniversary, more than 400 guests joined us at The Eastern on November 1, 2025 for Party on the Green Off Course Edition, the annual signature event benefiting the East Lake Foundation (ELF).

ELF is proud to continue to partner with East Lake Cup, a collegiate match play championship hosted at East Lake Golf Club that features the top four ranked women’s and men’s golf programs. Both events aid ELF’s work to support the Cradle-to-College and Career Continuum in the East Lake community. Over the last nine years, these signature events have contributed more than $6 million to support ELF’s programs and partners.

Together we raised a record amount!

This year, we paid tribute to the life and legacy of our founder, Tom Cousins, and honored the late Josie and Julian Robertson and the Robertson Family for their philanthropic leadership and steadfast commitment to the families of East Lake and the Drew Charter School community.

The East Lake Foundation was delighted to present the inaugural Eva Davis Community Advocate Award to Vivian Moore, Health Advocate at the East Lake Family YMCA. Ms. Moore was recognized for her unwavering commitment and advocacy on behalf of seniors, youth, and families of East Lake and metro Atlanta.

We heard from Alexis Gaines, who shared her journey from being a student at Charles R. Drew Charter School to a professional now working at the same school that poured so much into her. The educational continuum in East Lake works and has helped shape Alexis’ life and career.

Together we raised more than $1,050,000 – the most ever for Party on the Green! These funds support the East Lake Foundation’s Cradle-to-College and Career Continuum to provide access to high-quality education for East Lake students from birth – 12th grade and equip them with the tools to succeed in school and beyond. Your support makes stories like Alexis’ possible. We ended the evening in festive fashion, dancing to live tunes by Party on the Moon.

IN MEMORY OF TOM COUSINS

1931-2025

At Party on the Green, we paid tribute to the life and legacy of our founder, Tom Cousins.

His legacy is one of profound impact, measured not only by the buildings and programs he helped create but, most importantly, by the countless lives he touched. Alongside Eva Davis, Renee Lewis Glover, Shirley Franklin, and other partners, he helped transform East Lake and cultivated a resident-centered approach that remains the cornerstone of our work today.

Thank You to Our 2025 Champions
