Party on the Green, benefits the East Lake Foundation’s Cradle-to-College Education Initiative and the Foundation’s COVID-19 recovery efforts.  The 2021 event is scheduled for Saturday, October 23, 2021. Relax casually on the veranda overlooking the golf course, sip craft cocktails and sample exciting cuisine.

This 2021 event will be hosted in conjunction with the East Lake Cup, a collegiate match play championship, taking place Monday-Wednesday, Oct. 25-27 at historic East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, that will feature the top-four ranked women’s and men’s golf programs.

This special event will embrace the Foundation’s commitment to racial equity, inclusion and social justice while celebrating three leaders’ achievement and service to East Lake.

  • Hon. Shirley Franklin – Former Executive Chair of the Board for Purpose Built Communities and former Mayor of Atlanta
  • Renee Glover – Founder and managing member of The Catalyst Group, LLC and former CEO of the Atlanta Housing Authority
  • Shannon Heath-Longino – First Vice President at Truist, Vice Chair of the Drew Charter School Board, former resident at East Lake Meadows and member of the historic East Lake Planning Committee

The 7th Annual Tom Cousins award will also be presented at this year’s event. The honor, named after East Lake Foundation founder and philanthropist Tom Cousins, recognizes collegiate golfers – one male and one female – best representing the values of the award: excelling in academics and engagement in the community

The attire is golf casual.
